Yes thats right, we are having another boy!! We are very excited. We were hoping for a boy. The ultrasound was clear as can be, so there are no doubts. Blake wasn't as excited as I thought he would be. I think he wouldn't care either way. (Although I am sure when the baby comes, and gets big enough to play with, he will then appreciate that its a boy.) Ashlyn never really had an opinion before, when we would ask her what she wanted it to be she never really stuck with boy or girl, but then today, when she was told that its a boy, she was sad. She kept saying to me, "Its really a girl, isn't it Mom." I told her, "No Ashlyn, its a boy, we don't get to choose." But she is in denial and keeps saying its a girl. Oh well, she will get used to it. Terry really wanted Blake to have a little brother, he grew up with 3 older brothers, so he thinks every boy needs a brother. And as for me, I am just glad I don't have to bother with trying to get another little girl ready for church!! And yes, the baby looks healthy and perfect, and we will pray that it stays that way. We couldn't be happier! Now all we have to do is think of a NAME! (any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.) Wednesday, July 22, 2009

ReplyDeleteOH I'm so happy for you guys. I think it's funny that Ashlyn's in denial ha ha. I love it. Well I would say Blake but you already have one of those. I won't tell you my boy names because you might steal them ha ha jk. I love Kade, Teagan, Tayen (after Che), and Braxton. Love you guys, congrats!

ReplyDeleteWell P90X is pretty intense. It consists of like 12 dvds. It's pretty expensive but Che and I are burning them from a friend. So let me know if you are interested we could burn them for ya probably. Also it includes like dumb bells and a pull up bar and you may have to buy a set unless you have them already. Anyway, so it's basically an extreme workout. They have something different for you every single day for about and hour. We haven't started yet but my brother and his wife love it. I'm still not sure if I'm doing that yet though. I have one called slim in 6 and it's the same type of thing, a bunch of dvds, something new every week. But the difference is, it's things that are mostly for women. So exercises so you don't get bulky and i want to try that first. If I don't enjoy it, I will probably do the other one. But we'll see! Have agreat weekend. Vegas here we come!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting Aubrey! I bet after a little bit, Ashlyn will just be super excited to have a little sibling, and whether it's a boy or girl won't matter. Lane and I find out on August 3rd what ours is...we're both leaning towards a boy but they had to do an emergency ultrasound cause the heartbeat was really slow last check-up, (it was the hiccups-go figure. so everything's fine.) but in the ultrasound i couldn't see anything as far as a little boy. We were thinking Koy for a little guy though. So if it ends up being a little girl, it's up for grabs! :) I'm so happy for you though!
