We had a fun time celebrating Terry's birthday this year. To start his birthday off, Terry and I left the kids with his parents for the weekend and headed down to Vegas. We had alot of fun while there. We went to the "Knights at the Round Table" show at the Excalibur. They fed us "medieval times" style dinner, and we got to watch the Knights compete against eachother. We sat in the France section so we had to cheer on the Knight from France. (and in my opinion he was the cutest, so we were lucky!) We enjoyed Vegas but it was VERY hot there so we were glad to come home. Then on Terry's actual birthday, Terry, Blake, and I went golfing. Terry played very well, and Blake and I only got better with each hole, so it was fun. We ended up spending the rest of the evening in Rigby at Terry's mom and dad's house which I hadn't prepared for. So at the end of the night I still hadn't had the chance to give Terry his presents or his cake, so I decided to throw him an appropriate party the next day. So when Terry got home from work the following day, I had the house decorated for his party, and invited his parents over for pizza, cake, and present opening. Terry got a few presents along with a birthday card that the kids and I made together for him. (pictured below)
(It reads: Dear Sugar Daddy, Thankyou for Raisin us up so well, you've taught us to be Smarties and not Airheads. And though you sometimes act like a really big Nerd, when we are with you we always have Skittles of fun. We promise to never Snicker at you, if you get a bit Chunky or even Tiny Size. We really did Skor in the Dad Department, you're a huge Life Saver and Mom thinks you're a Big Hunk. You're the brightest Starburst in the Milky way, and the greatest dad in the whole wide world. And even though we sometimes make you Red Hot, we still love you oh so very Much. Now that is your birthday we wish we had 100 Grand, and we would send you on a shopping Spree all the way to New York. But since we don't you'll have to settle for a bunch of Kisses. So yes, Terry got a REALLY long birthday celebration, but we were happy to do it, cause he is worth it! Happy 33rd Birthday you old man!! I love you!
That is the cutest thing ever Aub. I bet he had the best birthday ever. We head to vegas this weekend! IT will be so hot but a lot of fun. I need a break from work!! Glad you guys had a good one. TEll Terry Happy Birthday from Che and I. Love ya!
