The Drive-in

Friday night, Terry and I took the kids to the Drive-in movie. We had alot of fun! We put a full size matress in the back of Terry's truck, and threw a bunch of blankets and pillows back there. So we were able to lay out under the stars and watch our movies. We first saw Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs, and then after we watched Transformers 2. Ashlyn made it through most of Ice Age without falling asleep, and Blake made it until the intermission. He asked us to wake him when Transformers started, but we tried a couple of times but he wouldn't wake up. On the drive home, (at like 2:00 a.m.) he realized that he didn't get to watch it, and was VERY angry with us for not waking him up. We told him that we tried but he didn't believe us. He threw a fit all the way home and then refused to go to bed once we were here. He finally calmed down at like 3 in the morning and went to sleep. But to be honest with you, I am glad he didn't see it, the language was pretty bad in the movie, so he probably won't be seeing it at all. But other than being extremely tired, we had a really good time!

I tried to get a really cool picture of them watching the movie, but when the flash was on you couldn't see the movie screen, and when I turned the flash off you couldn't see the kids. So all you get is a boring picture of the back of their heads! So try to use your imagination.
