For those of you who haven't heard yet.... our family has some exciting news. We are going to have another baby! Yay! We are very excited. The little one is expected to arrive on December 11th. I was a bit freaked out when I found out I was pregnant, not because we weren't trying, but because I knew I would be due in December. And when I did my own calculations I was pretty sure it would be due extremely close to Christmas. Thankfully the doctor told me I would actually be due on the 11th. So yes it is a December baby but thankfully not a Christmas baby! Whew! The kids are really excited. Ashlyn LOVES babies so I know she is going to be a great big sister! When Ashlyn was born Blake didn't seem to pay her any attention, but now that he is older I bet he will be more attentive to the new baby.
Most of you haven't seem much of me lately and the pregnancy is my excuse. I have been feeling pretty darn sick. So the kids and I have stayed home and inside alot. So sorry! I haven't forgot about all of you and I have not disappeared!
And.. to add to our families exciting news.. my sister Jenna just found out a few days ago that she has been chosen by a birth mother to adopt her baby!! Yay! We are so excited for her and her family. Her first daughter Baylee was adopted 2 months before Ashlyn was born, and they have been on the adoption list for a while waiting to be blessed with another angel to adopt,and their prayers have finally been answered. And get this, the baby is due tomorrow! They have only had less than a week to get ready for their new addition. But we are so excited and can't wait to meet their new little girl. Once again we will get to have new babies right around the same time!

Blake swinging very high. Out of nowhere while he was swinging, with no warning,he decided to jump out of the swing. I about had a heart attack. I had to warn him not to jump if he is swinging too high.

ReplyDeleteI'm sooo excited for ya'll! Even though ya'll are hoping for a boy, I am crossing my fingers that it's a girl! SORRY! But our kids need to be the same gender so they can be BFF's!
ReplyDeleteWell so far no baby today! I'm not expecting her to be born today anyways. Sometime mid next week is my guess. We'll keep ya'll posted.
Congrats on the new baby! That is so exciting! I know what you mean about the Christmas thing, we knew Avrie was going to come early (due Nov. 15) and we said the ONLY day we didn't want to have her was on Halloween. Thankfully she made it to Nov 2. Thanks for having us over the other night, it was really fun. We difnintely need to all get together again soon, when you're feeling good :)

ReplyDeleteOH yay for you!! I'm glad you won't have a Christmas baby. I'm so jealous! Che and I are just not caring about the whole trip and are trying now. We're still going to Vegas of course but we've really started trying. I'm actually in the process an ovulation test. So I hope it doesn't take me forever. Pray for us!!! Then maybe we can kids who are the same age!!! I say this all the time but we need to go do something soon! Have a great day. Love ya!
